John Holden, aged 20, and Thomas Halling (otherwise Haivley), aged 18, found guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of Richard Quelch in the parish of Aldenham on 27th July 1782: stealing therefrom a silver button boat (valued at 20/-); a horseman’s whip (valued at 2/-) and £14 in money numbered.  They were ordered for execution on Friday 7 March.
